How do chemoautotrophs make energy
By chemosynthesis.
@Tiya_kapadia....Welcome to OpenStudy sweet friend..... Chemoautotroph 1) Chemical plus CO2: An organism whose energy sources are electron donating compounds and whose principle carbon source is carbon dioxide. These organisms tend to use inorganic electron donors (i.e., they eat rocks!). That is, chemoautotrophs obtain their energy from something other than light or carbon compounds. 2) Deep-sea vent producers: Chemoautotrophs constitute the producers at the deep sea vents, i.e., the extract energy from inorganic compounds dissolved in sea water which are vented at these locations. As the producers the chemoautotrophic bacteria at deep sea vents basically constitute the first link of the deep sea vent food chain.
