first correct answer gets medal !! Phil, Steve, and Esther are aged 19 – 22, and none of them is the same age. Phil's age is an even number, and Steve and Esther have consecutive ages. Steve's age is an odd number, and he is older than Phil. Who is the oldest?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thnkss

OpenStudy (amistre64):

we are not running a game show, or a race here. Please do not use medals as a "bribe".

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thankk you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if phil is even, then he can be 20 or 22 steve is older than phil so he has to be 21 , since 23 is not given since steve and esther's ages are consecutive, esther must be 19

OpenStudy (amistre64):

much better thnx :)
