A street light 15ft high. A man 6ft tall is walking away from the pole at 5 fts. How fast is his shadow moving when he is 40ft from the pole. An explanation would be great. Thanks

Hmm I haven't dealt with related rates problems involving shadows. This is kinda interesting :o Here is an example problem that might help, http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/CalcI/RelatedRates.aspx Take a quick peek at it. Gimme a few minutes, I'll try to explain this one if I can.
