Im trying to graph this equation 3x + y =6, using 3 points

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first put it in the y=mx+b format.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you would get y = 3x + 6. the slope is 3/1. and the y intercept is 6. start by putting a point at (0,6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait. you're slope would be -3/1.. so simply go down three and right one and plane a point there. similarly go up three and left one placing a point there. Draw a smooth line through the three points and you're done. :) sorry about the slope confusion.
