Suppose a runner takes 45 min to run a route at 8mi/h at the beginning of training season. By the end of training season she can run the same route in 38 min. What is her speed at the end of training season?

classic d=rt question. so at first she runs d=r(8)t(45/60), which just off the top of my head is 6 miles I believe. use your calculator to double check me on this. using that for the next question 6 miles(d)=x(r)38/60 hours(t), her rate is then 360/38 mi per hour
