check y intercept 2y = -x - 6
y intercept = -3
equation of line is
y = slope * x + y intercept.
therfore answer C.

What is the slope of the line 5x - 2y = -10?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
OpenStudy (anonymous):
5/2 ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[slope(formula)= \frac{ y2-y1 }{ x2-x1 }\]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Can't i convert it to slope-intercept form to find the slope?

You still there?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Dang that is confusing lol
OpenStudy (anonymous):
5/2 is the slope for 5x - 2y = -10... i just submitted it and got it correct :p
OpenStudy (anonymous):
plotted point (a)=(0,5) ie (X1 y1)
plotted point (b)=(-2 ,0) ie (X2 y2)
now by formula
slope(formula)=y2−y1/x2−x1
=0-5/-2-0
=-5/-2
=5/2
