how do i find the exact values of the sine and cosine of an angle, and sketch the reference triangle?

you get two "special angles" which you can work out by drawing triangles: |dw:1366998923812:dw|

they will probably give you an angle for cos or sin of 30degrees or 45 degrees or 60 degrees and you can solve by using the triangles.

and if they ask you to solve for ARC SIN of any of the side ratios in the traingles degrees you simply need to give the appropriate degree to suit the sin/cos/tan using SohCahToa
