The ordered pair (4,2) is a solution to the system of inequalities below. y>-3x+2 y<2x+1 True False

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For first equation you can try like this: Firstly add 3x to both the sides: \[y + 3x > 2\] Here, put x = 4 and y = 2 to check whether it is true or not.. Can you??

Or simply just put x = 4 and y = 2 in the above two equations and check which will go right or which will not..

my answer is True

For first one it is true.. Can you check it for second equation??
