I got D, am i correct? http://prntscr.com/12a6ey

OpenStudy (kropot72):

There is no term containing y in choice D, therefore it can't be correct. The general equation of the hyperbola is \[\frac{x ^{2}}{a ^{2}}-\frac{y ^{2}}{b ^{2}}=1\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know that. but its the closest thing. I figured my teacher made a little mistake.

OpenStudy (kropot72):

My solution is as follows: \[\frac{(y+2)^{2}}{25}-(x-1)^{2}=1\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats what I got too. The only thing different is the y. so i figured he just make a boo-boo

OpenStudy (kropot72):

I agree.
