Question 1

question 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Q1. It goes up 2 and over 1 for each point slope = 2/1 = 2 It increases because the graph is going up ANSWER: 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Qn 2 - clear indication that with 1 hr distance increases by 2 miles.(since lines goes diagonally upward) Hence slope = 2. (slope is the value by which y value of a point changes with a corresponding change in the x value).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Q2. is answer 4 because the graph is going down by -1/1 each time which equals -1

wb the second question im confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok. Qn 2. According to question, If y = 6, x = 12 and if y = 4, x = 15 Slope of line = 6-4/12-15 => 2/-3 = -2/3 = slope. Hence the line is going down i.e. no. of gallons falls with rise in time. Ans = slope -2/3; water falls by 2 gallons, every 3 minutes.
