A scientist heats a piece of iron until it is glowing white–hot. He places the metal inside a metal box. He removes all of the air from the inside of the box. After a few seconds, the sides of the box that are not touching the metal begin to feel warm. Which process is most likely responsible for the warming? convection convection current radiation (I think it's this one) evaporation

OpenStudy (austinl):

I would say radiation as well. If I recall from my chemistry class last semester. Convection is a transfer of heat from a solid to a liquid or gas.

My answer as well is "radiation",but if you have kept the white hot iron in contact with any wall which is of metal as mentioned then conduction can also be the part of the answer
