If f(x) = 2x2 - 3x + 5 and g(x) = 5x - 3, what is f(x) + g(x) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is f(x)=2x^2-3=5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes. Sorry :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay haha its cool :) but with adding functions its basically f(x) + g(x) So it would 2x^2-x+5+5x-3 Then combine like terms... 2x^2-4x+2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright thank you! :) I understand it now!
