Calculus: A Spring has a natural length of 15ft and 51 lbs of force is required to hold it stretched to 21ft. How much work is required to stretch it from 15ft to 18ft? I know the answer but idk the process and why to use the different equations to get the answer. help please?? D:

You need to find the force required to stretch it as a function of how far it's stretched, then integrate that.

And after doing that, I personally guarantee that you can on your own solve this particular question.
