Tips on solving logical reasoning questions? Especially on types where they ask us to predict next figure in a sequence .

OpenStudy (perl):

look for patterns

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Is there any text or material from which we can learn about solving such questions or we need to only do problems?

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Please share if you have something that can help

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Taking an especially important test soon, Aravind? :)

OpenStudy (aravindg):

yep @terenzreignz ;)

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

I just trust my instincts...

OpenStudy (aravindg):

well I too thought I could do those .But I just started doing a question bank and I am kinda stuck .Thats why I need to know if there is something I need to go through before attempting these questions.

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Like tips on how to look for pattern ,eg clockwise rotation ,figure changing etc

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Unfortunately, I can find no general tip... it's as @perl said, look for patterns. I do recommend giving rotations a good look, they're the trickiest to visualise, in my opinion.

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

I opened this site, btw http://www.indiabix.com/non-verbal-reasoning/pattern-completion/

OpenStudy (aravindg):

thanks for the link @terenzreignz I am going to do the question bank ..Perhaps by doing more questions I might figure it out myself .Thanks for help

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

:) trust yourself :D
