Add all the sides:\[Perimeter=\frac{x}{4}+\frac{x}{4}+\frac{x}{4}+\frac{2x}{4}=?\] @Melon

2/4?

Nope. Do you know how to add fractions? When the denominator (the bottom number) of all the fractions is the same, then you just add up the numerators (top numbers) of all fractions and keep the the denominator the same in the final answer. For example:\[\frac{ 2 }{ 4 } + \frac{ 3 }{ 4 } + \frac{ 7 }{ 4 } + \frac{ 1}{ 4 }=\frac{ 13 }{ 4 }\] Similarly, to add up the given fractions, just add the top like : x + x + x + 2x and place all of that over the same denominator of 4. After you have a final answer, you can simplify furhter if possible. @Melon
