"xy" ? No. You decide between the middle two.
3000xy ?
"xy"? No. Please decide between the middle two.
selling -one new car: 3000 -two new cars: 6000 -three new cars: 9000 .. you see it's \(y\times 3000\). Same goes for the used cars: x used cars sold : \(x\times1000\). Therefore it's option 2 that's correct.
