Which of the following expressions could be simplified further? 8x + 3m + 7n + 4xz − 5p 6x − 7m + 9xz 4x + 3m − 5x + 8a 2x + 3m − 5xy + 4z

OpenStudy (reemii):

it can be simplified when there are several terms with the same variable. and remember : x can't go with xy.

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

The third one can be simplified further. 4x + 3m - 5x + 8a = -x + 3m + 8a This can be done because you have 2 x terms. The other expressions have no like terms.
