What is the point?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(6,8) (6,26/3) (5,32/3) or (5,26/3)

OpenStudy (saifoo.khan):

Nope. I think i'm wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let the point of division be (x,y) now when you find out the slope of AM that will be equal to BM which is again equal to AB .( cz the slope remains the same . you will have 2 equations solving it . you can further solve these equations using elimination method or subsitution! PS: use section formula while writing the slope equation.(cz the line here is divided in 2:1 and not simply 1:1 ratio)
