convert binary to bcd using IC

well, i think this is simple, yet, i make it quite tough ...
here's the question, i have decimal input 10 and need to display it using 7447 IC

therefore, i need to convert my input to BCD before going to 7447, but i find it quite tough to make it,

do i need to make a special circuit to eliminate number more 9
eg: if more than 9, i need to make combination logic to +6

still couldn't get it, because all i did was to get what is the gates being used, but what i need to use is actually IC, not the gate @.@
