I'm on problem set 1 part 2. I seem to have the code working but when I try change it to be multiples of 0.01 cent it gives me a wrong answer.
It comes back with
Enter the outstanding balance on your credit card:1200
Enter the annual credit card interest rate as a decimal:.18
RESULT
Monthly payment to pay off debt in one year: 110.02
Number of months needed: 12
balance: -0.04
same code worked for the problem set and should work when changed to cent.
I'm confused..anybody have an idea where I could be going wrong?

when you don't post your code, it is hard for us to comment are you saying that in your loop to determine the minimum payment, you are incrementing the payment by 0.01 instead of 10.0 and you are getting a wrong answer?
