How much paper is needed to cover a rectangular bulletin board that is 29 in wide and 37 in high? I don't really know what formula to use

OpenStudy (austinl):

I would use the formula for area of a rectangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use the formula for area

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its not surface area? its just area?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its 29 x 37 right? i got 1,073 yea that's one of the answers

OpenStudy (austinl):

Just area, A=length x width

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank u guys

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2lx2w

OpenStudy (austinl):

Um.... no.... you don't need to multiply each by 2.

OpenStudy (austinl):

Oh, i'm sorry. My current response was for another post. Austin is right, it's Length x Width. :)
