OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the value of x in the diagram

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry cant bye

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

draw a line form the centre of the circle to the end of the chord... this will also have a length x |dw:1367180337429:dw| the line from the centre of a circle to the chord bisects the chord... so you are looking at a right triangle... you will need pythagoras' theorem to find the length of x. Hope this helps.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It does! thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya so i guess around 6.6 ~ish ^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):
