Which is the correct order to find the circumference

OpenStudy (austinl):

Care to elaborate a little? I am unsure of what you are asking exactly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which is the correct order to find the circumference of a circular lid?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a. Multiply the radius by 2 to find the diameter. b. Multiply the diameter by π. c. Measure the radius of the lid.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was thinking c,a,b...

OpenStudy (austinl):

Do we have any known values? What we would know at the outset of the problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The question is asking: What is the correct order to find the circumference. Which above I posted the a/b/c order

OpenStudy (austinl):

That is correct. \[C=2 \pi r\] You would find the radius, multiply it by two. That would give you the diameter, which you would then multiply by pi.

Thank you.
