Suppose you own 75 shares of Google, which pay a dividend of $0.13 per share per year. How much will you receive in dividends over 5 years, assuming the dividends stay the same and you buy no more stock?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

How much would you get for 1 share in 1 year?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats all the question says

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Yes. and this is what it says: $0.13 per share per year.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

So I repeat my question: How much would you get for 1 share in 1 year?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

ok. 0.13 per share per year means you would be paid 0.13 for 1 share in 1 year. So for 2 shares you would get 2 x 0.13 and so on.
