A boy knows that his height is 6 feet. At the time of day when his shadow is 4 feet, a tree's shadow is 24 feet. What is the height of the tree? 24 ft 12 ft 18 ft 36 ft

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Take 24/4=6 and multiply it by the height of the boy which will equal 36. Look at is as the boy is standing next to the tree and multiply the boy until he equals the height of the tree while multiplying the shadow as well.
