Why should astronauts be aware of bone loss when working in space, even for a short period of time? A. Not enough stress is placed on the bones, making them weaker. B. Dehydrated food from tubes weakens bones. C. Excessive force during take-off and landing increases bone stress. D. Not enough calcium to become available to build bones.

OpenStudy (freethinker):

the reason we have strong bones is not only due to our calcium intake, but also the gravity that pushes us down. I believe cosmonauts devised an exercise to prevent this from occurring, but studies showed that even with this it will not be very helpful or has minimal effect.
