I need to write an argumentative essay on Global warming, basically, argue whether global warming exists or not. I have no thread to start. Should I start with sea level? Co2 emission? or extreme weather. I mean there are lots of aspects I can talk about. But it is a limited three page double space essay?? Anybody has the same experience?
you should start with a briefly introduction of what is global warming..then you can write about what you consider the most important aspect (for me is that people negligence) and later just name other aspects...is just a suggestion
Global warming is an exceedingly broad topic. If you want to prove or disprove it, there are a lot of arguments you could make. I would recommend choosing the one that you want to focus on (it could be the easiest to research or the most convincing to you) and following it. Then, tie it back to the introduction (see gerlpz22's comment). It's just a suggestion, but it works for me, especially with limited space.
I think, gerlpz22's suggestion is very practical. I guess I will just start with a briefly explaination of what is global warming. I am required to use counterargument to convince readers as well as concession and refutation techniques. Do you have any suggestion on that?
I'm afraid I don't, sorry. I do wish you the best of luck on your paper, though. I can say that if you must give ground, don't give much. I'm sorry I couldn't help anymore.
