Find the perimeter of triangle, round solution to 2 decimal points. A(-3,6) , B(3,2) , C(3,2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you think you would solve this?

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

ok so can you draw it to start?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

two of the points are the same that wouldn't even make a triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats's what it says on my hw..I don't know how to solve it. so yea

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

well you have a line segment not a triangle, as pointed out above

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm in that case i think that it is 3 but like i said two of the points are the same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@FibonacciChick666 I'm confused, cuz it says on my work "find the perimeter of the triangle below. Round your solution to 2 decimal points.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nvm :) but thank you for helping tho

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

well I think you might be having a dyslexic moment, double check your points for me pretty please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@FibonacciChick666 well..i called my brother, and he said one of the points aren't right. so i think its A(-3,6) B(-3,2) and C(3,2)

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

yep that sounds better. i was also thinking like (2,3) or something. Ok so to solve this first you want to draw yourself a picture

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the drawing is already here on my hw. hold on im goin to draw it.
