sam (.sam.):

footnote type of thing?

sam (.sam.):

|dw:1367238691084:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah just like that do you know the answer?

sam (.sam.):

You want to simplify it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says use the change of base formula to evalute log 4 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and i have no clue what that means, could you like show me how to do it so i can do the rest as well lol i have no idea how to do this.

sam (.sam.):

You can use \[\huge \log_a(b)=\frac{\log_c(b)}{\log_c(a)}\]

sam (.sam.):

Then change like this \[\huge \log_47=\frac{\log7}{\log4}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you very much :)

sam (.sam.):

'c' would be 10, it's hidden

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you :)

sam (.sam.):

welcome :)
