Given air in a cylinder with stops and a frictionless piston with area A = 0.2 m2 , stop height of 1 m, and total height of 2 m, at initial state P1 = 200 kP a and T1 = 500 ◦C with cooling, find the temperature when the piston reaches the stops, and the pressure if the cooling continues to T = 20 ◦C

This problem can be solved using boyels and charleses law as pv/t=PV/T where small p,v,t, implies initial volume, pressure, temperature of the gas in the cylinder and p,V,T implies the final pressure, volume, and temperature and we have given those quantity that we can solve the problem
