quick question -x > 3.
since the x is negative do i divide the 3 by -1?

and while doing that, don't forget to flip the sign (whenever you multiply or divide by the negative number)

if x could take that value, then there will be closed circle.
here x < -3, so x cannot take the value of -3 , it has to be less, so it'll be open circle.
left shading is correct :)
