how do i find the derivative of 1/2(t^2+t)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you mean 0.5(t^2+t) or \[1/(2(t^2+t))?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.5(t^2+t)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The derivative of \[t^2 \] is 2t (Power rule) and the derivative of t is 1. So the derivative is 0.5(2t+1) = t + 0.5.
