Find the surface area of a cone with a slant height of 3.75 m and diameter of 4 m. A. 94.25 m^2 B. 94.52 m^2 C. 36.13 m^2 D. 148.04 m^2

OpenStudy (goformit100):

For solving this do you know the conception of : Mensuration

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, I've never heard of that before.

The easiest way would be to just substitute the values into the formulae. Area of base = pi*(radius)^2 Surface area of cone (excluding base) = pi*(radius)*(slant height) Total surface area is the sum of those two.
