You guys are awesome :), I've got another one for ya. Use a paragraph proof to prove the converse of the corresponding angles postulate. Given: Corresponding angles are congruent Prove: segment A B is parallel to segment C D.

Ok. So if we are allowed to simply say 1st up that corresponding angles are equal, 1 = 5, (corresponding angles) Also, 1 = 3 (vertically opposite angles) Hence 3 = 5. (both equal to angle 1) But we see that 3 , 5 are equal and are also alternate interior angles. We know the fact that if interior alternate angles are equal then the line segment AB is parallel to CD.
