Can someone help? This doesnt even sound like english... The size of a computer monitor is given by the length of the diagonal of the screen. The ratio of the hight to the width of wide-screen monitors is 9:16. find expressions for thw width and the height of a wide-screan monitor in tearms of length of its diagonal.

ok so first make a drawing of a rectangle with a height of 9 and width of 16. now draw a line for the diagonal. See how that gives you a triangle? use the Pythagorean Theorem to find thw width of the diagonal
