22. Sheila observes the Bermuda Triangle on two maps of different sizes. The triangles are similar and have dimensions, in centimeters, as shown in the figure below. What is the value, in centimeters, of x?
This is the figure for the question
6/5 = 3x/(x+3) Solve for x
idk how :s I suck at algebra...
im kinda guessing on everything
Cross multiply: 6(x+3) = 5*3x
um how do i multiply that if there is an x? would it be 15x?
yea
so the answer is 15x?
no, there is the other side you have to work with too at the end you should have x=some number
oh ._. FML im confused :s
Peter can take over now, I deleted my answer :D
-_- Thanks...
thanks @bahrom7893 and you can work on harder things.
Hey he's actually good Toxic :)
so the objective here is to get x by itself
as bahrom said, "6/5 = 3x/(x+3) Solve for x" it's easiest to get x by itself if you get rid of all the fractions
do you know how to do that?
no ._.
im just gonna guess cuz i gotta get this pellet done... im behind and don't have time to wait ._. sorry :s
don't do that, you have to learn sometime.
