Are catalysts that speed up energetically unfavorable reactions when coupled with a favorable reaction that releases equal or greater energy compared to what is needed by the unfavorable reaction b.) Often use ATP breakdown to drive unfavorable reactions c.) Can bind to a specific substrate through interactions between the substrate and amino acid side chains that are in the active site d.) Often have cofactors or coenzymes that help with catalysis e.) All of the above are true

OpenStudy (davidusa):

just saying enzymes can break down proteins

sam (.sam.):

@chernan1945 What do you think?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

A for sure is true, and so is C. I'm not sure about "B", and I think "D" is also true. So I'm going to guess that it's "E".

sam (.sam.):

In glycolysis they are broken down by ATPase

sam (.sam.):

B will be true as well

OpenStudy (nincompoop):
