James just bought a large container of ice cream. The label says that there are 16 servings of ice cream. Write a formula to help James determine the number of grams in one serving of ice cream. Let's let x=number of grams of ice cream in the container y=number of grams per serving

OpenStudy (anonymous):

simply y=x/16 .... As x=number of grams of ice cream in the container, if it is divided by the number of servings then the result would modify number of grams per serving.
