What was best for you guys learning to speAk spanish
School. If your school doesn't offer Spanish classes, you could invest in Rosetta Stone. It's supposedly a very efficient foreign language learning program.
supposedly?....
Yes. I have to say "supposedly," because I've never actually tried it myself. It's rather expensive, widely known, and it's been on the market for a very long time. Its customer reviews are very positive.
Listen to music, watch Spanish TV, and yes, Rosetta Stone is a well organized program. Nothing can top finding someone to share practice sessions, though.
any suggestions on movies and music?
Movies= most DVDS in the States will allow you to change the language and the closed captions to Spanish. Pick a movie that you know what's happening so you're not completely lost. Depending on your level of language knowledge, pick movies that are native Latin/Spanish produced so it's a holistic culture experience.
