well that's the problem there are a lot of questions that don't make sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

about?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

government and econ

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so ask a question i can try to help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well it says here on my paper (using all the offline and online resources at your disposal, research one of the local government entities which have jurisdiction over your residence. Determine: a. The name of the political entity b. The structure of the executive and legislative branches c. The names of those serving in the governing body d. How long are the terms of people serving the governing body? e. How are the people selected to serve the governing body?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the thing is i have so many online websites it tells me to go to to complete this lesson

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so which one of the local government parts do yo want to research first you can narrow your search

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says Many, if not most, government entities have established Web sites. Even those that do not have their own Web site have information listed about them on the Web. Good resources for finding government entities include: • Library Of Congress This Library of Congress Web site provides a wealth of links to state and local government Web sites, as well as other such indices. • Education Department A U.S. Department of Education search engine for finding information on schools and libraries. • Government Directory A directory of thousands of state and local government Web sites indexed by state and subject.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes those are good resources becuase they are accurate library of congress is a good one to trust so pick a part and research it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

at the beginning of it it told me to go to the city of Jackson Mississippi and it told me to find the name Mayor? What is the name of the City Manager? When does the City Council meet? i got that info then it told me to go to some web sites like bing, Alta vista, ask,dog pile, google news, google books, google scholars, google images the library of congress, education departmentn and the government directory

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you research it using the search engine of your choice one peice at a time remember slow wins te race its okay to slow down and make sure that your answers are right :) so start of choose your search engine then look up pictures of the library of congress then look up images of the education department but when you do that one be specific like look up the image of your towns education department then search the government directory its not hard you just have to slow down a little bit and think thats al searching and finding accurate things on the internet is a complex process you can also narrow your searches by entering this: - and any unwanted keywords. say that you were looking for pictures of forks okay all you have to do to not get pictures of forks in the road is put - road forks okay do you understand all this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so do this and when you need help again message me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i cant find it

OpenStudy (anonymous):
