These are good lyrics but I would take out the word 'dude' and 'bro'. Rarely will you hear lyrics with those words. Other than those two words, I really like the lyrics. :)

No, you don't HAVE to write lyrics. In fact you could be a brilliant song writer and never write one word. Lyrics are nice but nobody will care until you have a great song.

Guys, I don't think he was being rude. I think you guys took it the wrong way. He was just making a point. He's right. Lots of people don't write lyrics, they just do instrumental. But there is nothing wrong with writing lyrics. I am a writer so I'm constantly writing lyrics and piano sheet notes. The lyrics are good that you have :)
But he wasn't trying to be rude, so don't get upset about it. :)
