Which number of solutions is not possible for a system of two linear equations? A. 2 B. 1 C. 0 D. infinite

OpenStudy (nurali):

A linear equation is a equation of a line. Think it like this. Two linear equations are like two lines. On how many points they can intersect(solution of the system)? They can cross at one point or never (0) if they are parallel, or everywhere(infinite) if they are the same line. But if they intersect at two points then they must intersect at all other points. two point intersection implies infinite intersection. Hence the answer is A) 2.
