I would definitely say answer choice D. Carpe diem is usually translated as "sieze the day". Making the most of life would be to seize your opportunity to make the most out of life. I hope this helps!

B wouldn't be the correct answer because Carpe Diem is about acting upon opportunities, etc etc... B, If at first you don't succeed try and try again, is more about not giving up and resilience.
