The sine and cosine functions both vary between 1 and -1, the amplitude is the maximum distance from 0 that the function goes. In a pure cosine wave, this amplitude is 1, but on your problem since the cosine is multiplied by -3, the amplitude is 3, since when the cosine is -1 you ultiplicate it by -3 you get 3.
From that you alse get that the range is from -3 to 3
And with that you can already choose an alternative, but the period you find by thinking of the period of the pure cosine wave, to complete a cicle or period the r in cos(r) must vary 2pi, in your problem this r is equal to 4x, therefore 4(period)=2pi and period=pi/2
so its c?
