What shapes have line symmetry and rotational symmetry?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

here's a good page that explains line and rotational symmetry http://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/symmetry.html

OpenStudy (ammarah):

"H"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks @jim_thompson5910 that helped

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you're welcome

OpenStudy (ammarah):

how about mine?

OpenStudy (ammarah):

H is a really good example for a symmetrical figure....i think i should deserve the medal...

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

H is good example it's symmetrical about 2 lines and you can rotate it 180 degrees and it will match up with itself another good example is the letter O

OpenStudy (ammarah):

lol....i was just kidding i dont care about the medal....but it would be nice.....i just said what i knew..whereas jimmy here researched it for ya...

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

since you can reflect that letter over any line through the center and you can rotate it any number of degrees (to have it match up with itself)

OpenStudy (ammarah):

hey jimmy do u think u can help me study?

OpenStudy (ammarah):

for my geometry final?
