Ok. 8 marks is impossible - 2 corrects and 1 wrong leave him with one more question.

Yes he would get -8 with 4 wrong answers and -1 with 1 right and 3 wrong.

But the question says WHOLE NUMBER.

Whole Number begins with 0 and does not include negative numbers.

Hence he can expect to get 20/20 with 4 fully correct guesses.
