AB is perpendicular to CD. If the slope of AB is 2/5, what is the slope of CD?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe it would be 5/2 not 100% sure though.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

product of slopes = -1, if lines are perpendicular

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

lets say slope of CD = x, 2/5*x = -1 x = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

- 5/2 ?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

thats right !

Thank youu!
