The solution of following is

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

a^2 + b^2 = 25 ?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

If a and b are variables, that is the equation of a circle. If they are constants then \[ab=\pm5\] and \[a=\pm \frac{5}{b}\]

OpenStudy (raden):

i think the solution has infinity order pairs (a,b) it has interval -5 <= (a,b) <= 5

OpenStudy (raden):

yeah trial errors is the better method here if a,b are real then it is infinity, if a, b are integer numbers, the solutions are {(-5,0), (0,-5),(5,0),(0,5),(-4,-3),(-4,3),(-3,-4),(-3,4)}
