you are out in the bush and the only water available to drink is in a muddy waterhole. you have an empty bottle and a cup. how would you remove dirt from the muddy water so that you could drink the water?

You can filter the water but you would need a piece of cloth for that.
If the cup is made from metal you can boil muddy water and condensate the steam and put it in the bottle

i woud fill up the the bottle with the muddy water and then leave it (for the sand to sink down). once the sand have settled down i'll pour the water in the cup and drink
