Please help!! I just need to know if there is a way to raise the temperature of matter without using heat energy

without raising the temperature, you can increase the volume of a gas to raise it's temperature. Basically, if you do work(increasing the volume) on the object, it will raise it's internal energy, and subsequently it's temperature.

When a gas is compressed it heats up. feel your bicycle pump after you use it. you do work ON a gas by compressing it. DECREASING its volume.
